This Privacy Policy explains how Ideas to Thrive ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the website ideastothrive.com, our newsletter and digital products, and the software tools we operate to publish our own content, including our Pinterest integration.
Who we are
Ideas to Thrive is an independent content brand publishing habit and productivity guidance through a YouTube channel, a podcast, a weekly newsletter, and digital products. You can reach us any time at contact.ideastothrive@gmail.com.
Information we collect
- Email address: when you subscribe to our newsletter or download a free resource, so we can deliver it and send future issues.
- Quiz responses: the on-site habit diagnostic runs in your browser; your answers determine your result and may be encoded in a shareable link. We do not require an account to take it.
- Basic usage data: standard, aggregated analytics (pages visited, referring source, approximate region) to understand what content is useful.
Our Pinterest integration
Single-account, personal use. We operate an application that uses the official Pinterest API to publish pins and read performance data for our own Ideas to Thrive Pinterest account only, with our own authorization.
Specifically, this integration:
- Creates and schedules pins and boards on our own Pinterest account;
- Reads analytics (impressions, saves, and clicks) for our own pins, to help us decide what to publish next;
- Does not access, collect, store, or process the Pins, boards, or personal data of any other Pinterest user;
- Does not sell, rent, or share any Pinterest data with third parties.
Our use of information received from the Pinterest API adheres to the Pinterest API Usage Agreement and the Pinterest Developer Guidelines, including their limited-use requirements.
How we use information
- To deliver the newsletter, resources, and products you request;
- To operate, secure, and improve the website and our content;
- To publish and measure our own marketing content across platforms.
We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of established providers to run these services. Each processes data only as needed to provide its service, under its own privacy terms:
- Beehiiv: newsletter delivery and subscriber management;
- Netlify: website hosting;
- Gumroad: digital product checkout and delivery;
- Pinterest, YouTube, and Spotify: where we publish content.
Cookies
The site uses only the cookies and local storage needed for basic functionality and aggregate analytics. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings; the site remains usable without them.
Data retention
We keep newsletter subscriber information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Aggregated analytics are retained only as long as useful for understanding trends.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe from any email using the link in its footer, and you may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing contact.ideastothrive@gmail.com. We respond to reasonable requests promptly.
Children
Our website and products are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
